The ginger cake sponge is ideal for combining with extra ingredients such as raisins, dried fruit or nuts to give the sponge a unique flavor and character every time. When baked, the structure of ginger cake allows it to be cut and sandwiched with plum conserve (powidl), peanut butter or chocolate, depending on the baker’s imagination. Ingredients: gluten-free wheat starch, sugar, buckwheat flour, tapioca starch, corn flour, potato starch, gingerbread spice, cocoa (fat content 22%), raising agent: E500 (ii); thickener: xanthan gum; salt.
To make the cake you only need:
200 ml milk ▪ 150 g eggs (3 eggs) ▪ 100 g butter ▪ 75 g (3 table spoons) of honey
